Abid Khalil joyfully reported that on the delightful Saturday of December 30, 2023, we gathered for lunch at LASANI RESTAURANT in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi, courtesy of our wonderful colleague, Mr. Bilal Khimani. Mr. Khimani, who traveled all the way from Houston, Texas, USA, to attend a wedding in Karachi, graciously organized this heartwarming get-together.
The ambiance was filled with camaraderie as approximately 25 crew members attended the event, creating a memorable experience. The esteemed guests included Bilal Khimani, Abdul Hussain, Aquil A Khan, S M Yousuf, Munir Akhtar, Ashfaq Ali, Shafqat Ahmed, Nisar Sheikh, Ashiq Durrani, Pervez Farid, Noor Laghari, Abid Khalil, Shakil A Khan, Ayub Memon, Ahmed Nawaz Sheikh, Haider Noor Khan, Ejaz A Khan, Najam-uz-Zaman Khan, Lutfullah Rashdi, Khalid Hasnain, M Farid, M Sikandar Mastoi, Akbar Wahaj, Mohammad Aslam, S A Rizvi, Shoaib Ahmed, and Raoof Ono.
The gathering was marked by laughter, good food, and the warmth of friendships. We extend our heartiest gratitude to Mr. Bilal Khimani for bringing us together and making this occasion special. As Mr. Khimani prepares to depart on Tuesday, he conveys his heartfelt greetings, well wishes, and salaam to all his colleagues. We bid him a fond farewell and look forward to the next opportunity to gather and create more cherished memories.
‘A landmark event’
It was privilege to spending time with syndicate of old colleagues at Civil Aviation Club Airport, Karachi.
Ex senior crew Mr Akbar Wahaj, was in town for couple of months.
Mr S Ashfaq Ali, extended courtesy; arranged meals that consisted of snacks followed by sumptuous dinner.
The evening of Thursday 6/10/22, looked beautiful, and surrounding atmosphere made the event more relaxing. Though, there was extra ordinary vehicular traffic on all roads, yet majority of guests managed to reach at venue almost on time.
We remembered all our colleagues, who have left the mortal world recently and in the past.
These were poignant moments.
Colleagues who are suffering from prolong illnesses, they were also in our prayers.
May Almighty, be pleased with them.
When crews assemble in large number then there is repertoire of interesting/amazing, stories that could continue through the night. But security conditions and other concerns compel people to leave the venue at reasonable time. The gathering concluded on happy note around 11 pm, started 7.30 pm.

Love you all, definitely to make it an event just have it make it happen & get everyone together. Our Colleagues are now Canadian, They are the main reason to get together. So 1st off thanks to Shirin Khan & Ghazala Mohsin Rizvi, who made it the reason to get it executed. Also our new entrance of Nayyar Sultana, Nishat Naseer, & Seema Qureshi made us all feel younger, more lively. While all others Ghazala Darwesh, Nida Tariq, Quratul Ain, Mussarat Shabbir, Samina Masood, Khursheed Asif, Ruxana Akmut, our young Nargis Bokhari & off course Natasha all are our time favourites our blooming flowers including myself. May Allah bless us all with health & happiness always. Ameen summa Ameen!!!
